  • (1888PressRelease) May 05, 2011 - Lake Dallas, Texas - The Boys and Girls Clubs of North Central Texas announced today their upcoming benefit 3rd Annual Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show will be held Saturday, May 14, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Lake Dallas City Park, Lake Dallas, Texas.

    "Our car show is a great way for classic car enthusiasts to view a variety of classic cars, trucks and motorcycles that are maintained to perfection", stated Rick Troutman, Vice President of Resource Development. "Individuals that would like to display their vehicles will have the opportunity to win awards, prizes, custom designed t-shirts and more importantly 100% of the profits will go to help local at risk youth", Troutman said.

    The Boys & Girls Clubs of North Central Texas 3rd Annual Benefit Car Show will include over 55 awards, outstanding club participation award, prizes, raffle, a variety of vendors and much more.
    According to Troutman, the Boys and Girls Clubs of North Central Texas works closely with the City of Lake Dallas to arrange for the event that will be adjacent to the Mighty Thomas Carnival.
    "Our Car Show and the City of Lake Dallas sponsored Mighty Thomas Carnival will be wonderful event for the whole family to attend", stated Troutman.

    The City of Lake Dallas Spring Carnival opens the evening of Thursday, May 12th and continues through Sunday, May 15th. Discount carnival tickets will be available until May 12th at www.lakedallas.com.
