2011 Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony At Shanghai Marriott Hotel Hongqiao
The Shanghai Marriott Hotel Hongqiao marked the beginning of its Christmas and New Year's celebrations on 27th of November with the lighting ceremony.

The traditional Christmas tree lighting ceremony at the hotel lobby began with the festivities and enjoyed seasonal delicacies including hot chocolate, Christmas baked goodies, egg nog and mulled wine, while there was a Santa Claus appear carrying gifts to the children. Starting at 5:30pm, choirs from Shanghai Rainbow Bridge International School & Shanghai Community Fellowship sang and shared the spirit of the season with their parents and friends. The General Manager Mr. James Macadie and Director of Rooms Mr. Jason Farnworth lit the Christmas tree together to commemorate the start of the Christmas season.
