"The Fan" - new single by FINE POINTS (members of Sleepy Sun)
FINE POINTS has released "The Fang," the first single off their new album, Take Shape. Take Shape will be released by Dine Alone Records on July 13.
- (1888PressRelease) June 05, 2018 - San Francisco, California: FINE POINTS features Evan Reiss and Matt Holliman (both founding members of San Francisco psych band Sleepy Sun), along with Owen Kelley and Josh Unger.
“The Fang” was produced, engineered and mixed at Outland in Berkeley by Jason Carmer (Third Eye Blind, Camper Van Beethoven, Billy Idol, Merle Haggard).
“The Fang” was mastered in Los Angeles by John Greenham (Kevin Morby, Beady Eye, Kelley Stoltz).
FINE POINTS’ has been described as having “wavy,” “bright” guitars (FLOOD Magazine); being “tight and groovy,” “hypnotic” and “trippy” (Exclaim!); reminiscent of Travis, early Coldplay and Real Estate (RREVERB).
