    Excerpt from the Book:
"The rain stung his bare skin as he ran naked along the road; over the bridge, past the chip shop, past the Railway pub, never looking back. They were behind him; if he could find the door and get thought it, he would be safe. Breathing hard, he turned into Manor Park, got to the big tree. It was too big now, he couldn't get past it, no space on the pavement, he veered into the road and skirted the tree. Reaching the door he banged his fist on the glass pane. No reply. He checked the number, forty four. It was the right door. They were almost upon him now. His fist banged the glass again, still no response. They were here. Turning, Stanley stood there, dragging Nicolls by his hair. Sarah and Georgie were standing next to him. They were all chanting. He leaned closer, trying to hear what they were saying. Pointing at him. "It's your fault, It's your fault!" All of them shouting at him."
