  • (1888PressRelease) June 29, 2011 - Senior Producer, Molly Mager of The Balancing Act television show which airs on Lifetime, is looking for in show brand integration partners to assist in developing The Balancing Act storylines. The 'Women's Health Update' series will launch in fourth quarter of 2011 and continue throughout 2012 on the popular women's morning show. Featured on the series will be companies that have contributing information on products or services associated with women's health.

"The 'Women's Health Update' series was created with the understanding that women would rather suffer in silence than discuss any health related issue with even their closest of friends. I've made it my objective to address these delicate health issues and empower women to share their stories," says Mager.

This series will cover focuses in relation to menopause, bladder control, heart disease, osteoarthritis, depression, and family planning.

"There's a double standard when it comes to women's health in general - take sexual disorders for example. Erectile dysfunction TV and radio commercials run multiple times daily. Have you ever heard an advertisement for any female sexual arousal equivalents? It's not like they don't exist," says Mager. "Through encouraging viewers to get the dialogue started at home and within social circles, I hope to remove those biases," Mager adds.

Airing alongside the 'Women's Health Update' series is fitness expert Denise Austin and actress turned author, Josie Bissett.

Over the past two years, Mager has played a fundamental role in the creation of signature health series on The Balancing Act which include; 'Healthy Hearing Awareness' and 'Living with Diabetes.' She has also brought Brand Integration to the show with Content Partners that include; Unilever, Kraft Foods, Nestle, Sara Lee and Sprint.
