Top Quote Sir Bruno Serato To Be Featured in PrimiDieci Society's Upcoming Book. End Quote
  • Orange County, CA (1888PressRelease) September 14, 2013 - The honors keep piling up for OC's best-known philanthropist. Bruno Serato, a past CNN Hero who was recently knighted by the Italian Government with its highest civilian honor, has been selected by the PrimiDieci Society as one of its Top 10 Italians/Italian Americans and will be featured in a book highlighting each of their achievements. The nonprofit PrimiDieci Society is described as "an elite organization committed to celebrating the extraordinary personal and professional contributions of Italians and Italian-Americans." The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Italian Embassy and Italian General Consulates in the U.S support the organization.

"I am delighted to be selected by the PrimiDieci Society as one of its Top 10 and hope that by being recognized we can help shine the spotlight on the continuing needs of underprivileged children - particularly the 'motel kids,'" said Serato, who owns the Anaheim White House restaurant. "My work is far from finished. In addition to feeding dinner to 300+ children each night, I have been working to find homes for many of these families who have fallen on hard times. Any honors bestowed to me are really about calling attention to the kids."

In honor of his beloved mother, Serato founded Caterina's Club 8 years ago with the mission that the region's most vulnerable population - its children -- receive a hot meal before they are tucked into bed. He has fed more than 500,000 meals to date.

In addition, Serato operates the Anaheim White House, which is situated in a historic national landmark mansion dating to 1909. It offers a quixotic Italian Steak House, extensive wine list, unparalleled service and an elegant setting to create a dining experience that is timeless, remarkable and without equal. The restaurant is located at 887 South Anaheim Blvd. in Anaheim. Reservations are recommended and may be made by calling (714) 772-1381. For more information visit www.anaheimwhitehouse.com.
