    COMMUNITY EVENT 'BoA-DoA" BANK OF AMERICA DEAD ON ARRIVAL FORECLOSURE FAIR on day 25 of the resistance - After Debi Haber called (video) from the office of the CEO at B of A, she mailed the Hernandez Family their 4th round of loan modification papers. In response, #FortHernandez is organizing a Bank of America Dead on Arrival Foreclosure Fair - This family friendly event, will also feature foreclosure specialists recruited by occupiers to speak to the 174 families facing foreclosure in the Hernandez's neighborhood. Families will learn:

    1. To avoid attorney scams by vetting attorneys
    2. How renters are affected by the foreclosure crisis
    3. How to organize and resist unlawful evictions

    The fair will be filled with kid friendly activities, a neighborhood potluck, music, and an educational forum on the foreclosure crisis.

Enjoy live music, children's activities, yummy potluck dishes and a informative foreclosure forum in front of the Hernandez family's home - which is currently occupied by activists from the Occupy movement to prevent the eviction action initiated by the predatory Bank of America.

    The house, affectionately named Fort Hernandez, has been a concrete representation of political resistance against the rampant bank mortgage fraud in the US for 21 Days! The community has shown overwhelming support for this multi-generational family of 9 (including 4 young children), who have lived in this house for 7 years, and we thank all who have offered their support!! So, come out and meet the family and community and enjoy this family event full of fun and foreclosure fighting education.
