UBOOMERUTV PIVOTS WHILE YOUTUBE STUMBLES Tipping Point Online Video/Music Site Ready to Replace You Tube

Top Quote There is a big battle going on with YouTube vs. indie labels. YouTube says music from indie labels are being taken off YouTube unless indies sign an agreement that is unfavorable to indies. indies account for a 32.6% market share of the recorded music industry's sales and streams. So 1/3 of all YouTube songs may disappear now - instead of the announced 10% = huge loss in visitors! End Quote

  • San Francisco, CA (1888PressRelease) July 17, 2014 - Silicon Valley Judy Myers Founder and CEO, the lone female in the social networking space in Silicon Valley invites YouTube's music fans has a new site to go to. Judy's six year old online video/music site is the perfect example, that the first product to market isn't always the winner.

YouTube's battle against their indie video/music artists/producers, who are being shut down, involves a long-delayed effort by the online video giant to develop a paid, advertising-free premium version to compete against subscription music services like Spotify, Rdio and Beats Music.

YouTube, a division of Google, has made licensing deals with Universal, Sony and Warner, the three major labels, but it has stalled with the independent artists. Merlin chief Charles Caldas publicly castigated YouTube as easily the worst-paying streaming provider, with rates that make Spotify seem generous.

This dynamo states, "Slow and steady, good content put out consistently, is what I feel is the secret sauce to our success, while operating on a very lean budget. Statistics say that the best companies come later, in the second wave. Our timing and business models mesh together perfectly and now enjoys the lead position. We are the second wave winners. I am taking advantage of the decrease in competition who try to cheat the system in whatever way".

While drinking her green drink, Judy goes on to say, "Take Spotify, they are now hunting around for a video site to partner with or buy. I sent an e-mail to Mr. Ek the founder, to partner with us, but he never got back to me. Obviously he doesn't get it! But back to the problem at hand, if a third of music content disappears from YouTube and reappears on a competing site, such as ours, fans will flock to our site, and indies can get exposure again. However they must act as a group. We welcome them with open arms!

Being second, third or fourth is often the best place to be. The point is to be out there competing with our innovative entertainment hub during the height of the trend so that it has the best chance of being the droplet that causes the flood.!"
