The Sagemont School operates two campuses in Weston. The Lower School Campus serves students in PreK3- Grade 5; the Upper School Campus serves Grade 6 through 12. The faculty and staff at The Sagemont School are dedicated to parent-teacher relationships in a high-tech learning environment. With multiple computers in each classroom, and small class size, children are learning the skills they will need to be successful both in school and later in life.
Sagemont, a private school serving the Fort Lauderdale area, presents Legally Blonde: The Musical with a debut on November 29th. The award winning high school thespians present the musical in a "Black Box" theater setting.
Sagemont, a Fort Lauderdale private school, offers an ESOL program to students who have newly entered the country and to students participating in the school's international scholar home-stay program. Elementary School Administrators at The Sagemont School, a private school serving cities including Weston, Davie and Plantation in Broward County, Florida, kissed a pig as culmination of a school wide Accelerated Reader Challenge. Each year students are challenged to increase their reading goals. This year the students enthusiastically surpassed their goal to see their administrators kiss a pig.
The Swim Academy, headquartered at Camp Sagemont in Broward, FL, participated in the world's largest swim lesson to help break Guinness World Record. Camp Sagemont, a summer day camp, was a natural venue for this event.
The Sagemont School's 2011 high school graduates were offered a record amount of academic scholarship dollars. The school is dedicated to its model for creating champions in academics, athletics and the arts.
The Sagemont School Drama Production of Dracula received straight Superior ratings in all categories at Florida State Thespian Festival in Tampa and has received numerous Cappies nominations. The program is flourishing under the direction of Elizabeth.
Sagemont students dressed in goggles and gloves dissect worn out computers using screwdrivers and wire cutters to learn more about how the machines actually work. This is a hands on project that teaches the discovery learning process.
