  • (1888PressRelease) March 02, 2017 - Connaught Place, New Delhi, India : Leading India-based home finance company, PNB Housing, hosted its first home expo, Ghar Utsav, at Hotel Shangri-La on February 25-26, 2017. The aim of this two-day home exhibition was to provide a platform to the leading developers to showcase and sell their properties. Leading developers, including Tata Value Homes, Ajnara, Mahagun, Gaurs, Lotus Greens, Vatika, Supertech and Panchsheel, participated in this promising event.

With free entry, prospective home buyers got the opportunity to select a home for themselves from a huge range of properties on exhibit. The property rates started from just Rs. 20 lakhs. Project information, such as the current status of construction, possession date, approvals, etc, were also made available for potential home buyers.

The specialty of the exhibition was the spot sanction by PNB Housing for home loans to potential buyers at the venue. PNB Housing offered home loans at just 8.50%, with zero processing fees, for the walk-ins. Visitors were, however, requested to carry their KYC documents, as well as other documents such as income proof and bank statements with them, for easy processing of loans.

The major attraction at Ghar Utsav was Hotel Shangri-La itself. A luxury 5-star hotel, nestled in the heart of Delhi, Shangri-La houses sprawling lawns and timeless architecture, which is inspired by the work of Edward Lutyen, a British architect who played an instrumental role in designing and developing New Delhi.

Hosted at an optimum time, over the weekend, and especially at a time when the interest rates are going down, in fact, being the lowest in many years, Ghar Utsav was a progressive step to encourage and initiate people to take a leap forward in purchasing their dream home, which they might have been postponing due to lack of funds or due to the demonetization move.
