  • (1888PressRelease) April 27, 2012 - SAN DIEGO - It seems a simple message, but reminding people to always find their joy and fulfill their dreams made Believe in Yourself ~ Inspire Others ~ Spread Joy an instant Amazon.com's top selling newly released motivational and self-help book in April 2012. Author Amy Wise's original quotes are accompanied by stunning images designed to encourage, inspire and brighten readers' days. In addition to using the book as a way to focus on the positive, people are purchasing Believe in Yourself ~ Inspire Others ~ Spread Joy as an inspirational gift for Mother's Day.

The original quotes that fill the book were written from the author's heart to help her stay positive during a dark time in her life. As she began to share these words of motivation through Facebook and her blog, readers began to ask her to compile them into a book. In April 2012, Volume 1 was released to critical acclaim.

USA Today Reporter Melanie Eversley commented, "Amy Wise gives the sort of sage life advice that puts the brakes on your thought stream, helps you stop, rethink and steer yourself back in the right direction. Good soul nourishment here."

"Amy Wise has experienced more than her share of adversity and injustice, yet through it all she has remained positive, choosing happiness rather than bitterness," said Hollye Dexter, co-editor of Dancing at the Shame Prom. "She always has a positive, encouraging word for everyone - including me."

Elizabeth Geitz, author of I Am That Child, commented, "Amy Wise's book of quotes will take you on a journey to your best self, enabling you to change your heart and the hearts of those around you. Timely, thought-provoking and reflective…this is the way to begin your day."

What began as a personal journey during a very dark time, ended up becoming so much more. Each page tells a story with a beautiful picture and a quote straight from Amy's heart based on her own experiences. The words in this book are like a friend reaching out just when you need friendship the most.

In 2007, everything Amy knew came crashing down around her. It was discovered that the water being used in their candy/gift store was not drinking water but reclaimed sewer water. From illness to the destruction and closure of her business and dream, to the five year legal fight against the water department, city, developer and contractor, who all refused to do the right thing, she didn't know how to deal with it all.

One day, her husband said to her, "One of the reasons I married you is because you are one of the strongest women I know. Why are you letting these people destroy you? I want my wife back." And with that, she set on a journey to reclaim her life, part of which was writing positive daily quotes and sharing them with others. Unbeknownst to her, that was the start of this book.

"Believe in Yourself ~ Inspire Others ~ Spread Joy isn't just a title, it's a way to live," said Amy. "My hope is that you use this book to help you find your joy, live your dreams and follow your heart."

The book can be purchased at Amazon.com and BN.com.
