  • Boston, MA-NH (1888PressRelease) May 02, 2013 - Jonathan Monsarrat, a Boston based entrepreneur and business leader, has already successfully created the world's largest calendar of technology and business networking events, and is currently working on building the world's largest arts calendar. The DotCom executive is well known for big projects. In 1994, he founded Turbine, a videogames company that has allowed millions of people to play games together, including Lord of the Rings Online and Dungeons & Dragons Online. Now, Jonathan Monsarrat is also creating the world's largest atheist calendar.

Although details of the project are still secret, Jonathan Monsarrat will use a doubly-patented technology to collect events such as book talks and conferences directly from hundreds of public websites. Thus, the project won't require data entry, unless event organizers want to check their listings and fine tune them. It's the reason why the project will scale up so well.

Jonathan Monsarrat said, "It's properly called a secular calendar, but most people don't know what that means. It refers to a worldwide community of those support rational thinking over belief, whether they are atheists, humanists, freethinkers, skeptics, Unitarians, or other allies. The project will also feature the world's largest directory of secular groups to join." The new calendar from Jonathan Monsarrat is due for release by the end of 2013.

"Non-belief is the most rapidly growing kind of belief philosophy in America," Monsarrat said, "and it's time to get a seat at the table in public discussion. We are real people, and those who are hateful towards us are no different than those who are hateful towards other minorities."
