  • Las Vegas, NV-AZ (1888PressRelease) September 21, 2010 - Adaluz International is pleased to announce that 19 year old and Sinaloa representative Jocell Villa was crowned this past Sunday September 12th Señorita México U.S. 2010. The Hacienda Heights, California resident was elected among 18 other beautiful Ladies of Mexican heritage that were competing for the title at The Harmon Theater of The Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Miss Mexico Organization, CEO Adán Pérez and Executive Director Jenny Bolivar were publicly honored at the beginning of the show by Chief of Public Relations of The State of Nevada Gayle Anderson, who read to the audience a Message from Governor JIM GIBBONS. Judith Fleischman, Nevada First Congressional District representative, handed a congressional recognition by Congresswoman Shelley Berkley to The Miss Mexico Organization, LLC.

    19 year old Mariana Cerda from Michoacán became the first runner up, while the second runner up was Maria Elena Anaya representing Jalisco. Elisa Echverria Miss Sonora was exalted as the third runner up, and Vivian Lemus representing Nuevo León was the 4th the runner up. Suzy Beltrán representing Manzanillo, Colima earned the Miss Congeniality award, Elisa Echeverría was awarded with Miss Photogenic, and Vivian Lemus received Adaluz International's the recently introduced award Miss Courage and Perseverance.

    The beauty pageant which started in the year of 2004, and was temporarily halted on 2007 due to Trademark litigations with The Miss Universe Organization, mounted a Las Vegas style show which eye browed attendees, as well as current and potential sponsors. Housed in Las Vegas from Sunday Sep-5th contestants participated in different promotional presentations, were transported in high class VIP Limousines of Las Vegas and performed a live runway Fahion Show at The Fashion Show mall. In addition, the contestants made presentations in Havana Grill Cuban Cuisine, Mi Lindo Michoacán Restaurant and Nico Santucci's Capo's Restaurant. The after party took place at Nicco Santucci's Parisian Palace. The crowning night explosive entertainment's main dish was Latin Grammy nominee Luz Rios, also International R&B singer Pierre Jovan and Heidi Thompson as "Cher" had presentations during the pageant night. One of the night's most pleasant surprises was the evening gown presentation which was uniquely presented as sax player "Sid The Kid" Sax played Latin romantic melodies as the girls elegantly modeled their beautiful evening gowns.

    Rj Peltyn and Elizabeth Olson were the Host and Hostess of the night, The judge panel was distinguished with: Las Vegas celebrity Nico Santucci, Public Relation specialist and daughter of Mexican Legend Marco Antonio Muñiz, Beba Muñiz, Plastic Surgery Specialist Lizeth Rodriguez, Las Vegas walk of star director and Public Relations specialist Pablo Castro, Don Julio Tequila specialist Kevin A. Venegas, Harrah's entertainment Regional VP of Latin American Marketing, Joe Ripoll, International entrepreneur Paul Muraid, Local cosmetic entrepreneur and owner of Rain Cosmetics Ron Montoya, Los Angeles Make-up artist Alberto Franco, and entrepreneur owner of Alamza Hooka Lounge Mike Hammudah.

    The beautiful "Sinaloense" Jocell Villa who is a student at Fullerton College, majoring in Communications was crowned by Joselyn Pérez Señorita Mexico U.S. 2009. Jocell Villa will represent the beauty of the Mexican women living in The United States for one year.
