    On Friday, October 24th, from 6-8pm: Bring a flashlight and walk among the dinosaurs in the dark! The dinos come alive in the shadows as you discover their unique features with your flashlight. Advance tickets for this popular event are required and available for free at any of the Kenosha Public Museums beginning October 7.

    Boofest
    On Saturday, October 25th, from 1-4pm: Wear your costume and trick or treat at the museums! Plus, enjoy free activities at all three museums! At the Kenosha Public Museum you can make a trick or treat bag, learn about your bones and owl pellets, and then go on a scavenger hunt. At the Dinosaur Discovery Museum, explore dinosaur mummies and go on a spooky dinosaur scavenger hunt. At the Civil War Museum, paint a pumpkin. Boofest is a free event sponsored by the Friends of the Museums.

    The Kenosha Public Museum is a natural sciences and fine and decorative arts museum. It's one of three Museums that make this Wisconsin tourist attraction a must see! Site seeing on the bank of the Great Lake Michigan, this Museum has many events for families and students looking for a great day trip.

    The other two locations, the Dinosaur Discovery Museum and the Civil War Museum are located just a quick trolley car ride (adults, $1; kids ages 5-12, $0.50.) away from the main museum campus. Free parking is available in the scenic lot on the lake shore.

    Located 25 minutes from Milwaukee and 55 minutes from Chicago, it's the perfect day trip for the whole family! Kenosha Public Museums offer a wide variety of classes and workshops for all ages.
