    Dashama has been instructor to the famous and influential as well as to the average student.     She has studied under many internationally known masters of Yoga. Dashama Konah-Gordon holds a BA in Intercultural Communications, as well as a registered Yoga instructor with ERYT, a certified Yoga Therapist from the Vedic Conservatory, and a certified physical fitness trainer.

    Joining her in this event is Mukti Michael Buck, who has through years of study and training, acquired a deep understanding and appreciation of the art of Yoga. Mukti emphasizes the practice of Assisted Yoga in his instruction. Mukti states that "Assisted Yoga is a gift handed down from the God's" and believes that this is the original way that yoga was practiced." He feels that much of the yoga being practiced today has lost its purity. Therefore, he concentrates on small groups of students which enables him to concentrate on individualized attention where it is needed.

    Mukti Michael Buck specializes in a method known as the "Perch & Sink Technique." This process focuses on the raising and lowering of the shoulders while being assisted in the proper execution. It is an extremely valuable exercise and serves to eliminate hypertension and increases one's ability to concentrate. Among its many benefits is to also minimize negative projection and to enhance spinal integrity.

    Mukti Michael Buck is the founder and director of The Vedic Conservatory. At the Conservatory, a student is instructed in the art of Vedic Massage as well as Assisted Yoga and bodywork. Mukti is senior instructor at the conservatory and has been teaching the art of Yoga for more than 14 years. He has shared his knowledge and technique with over 10,000 students internationally and has certified over 3,000 instructors worldwide.

    Mukti Michael Buck is a 1984 graduate of the Swedish Institute and graduated from the Ohashi Institute in 1985 and in 1987, from the Anama Institute. He also received level three instructor status in 1995 from the International Thai Therapy Association. In March of this year, Mukti Michael received accreditation into the Thai Healing Alliance. He holds accreditation from NCBTMB (#291-842-00); is approved by the state of Florida (MCE-481-05), and is a member of ABMP (#MA40783) in Florida and (#003549) in New York State.
