  • (1888PressRelease) May 03, 2016 - Mr. Chad "Love" Lieberman is a renowned art therapist who has been practicing art therapy for more than 20 years. He recently convened a session to announce that he will be offering art and meditation workshops wherein interested attendees could learn how to leverage art therapies for personal growth as well as to deal with any other inner conflicts that affect their quality of life.

"Our aim as a practice through these workshops is, to hold group sessions where people facing various difficulties may use the creative space provided, to work through their challenges. We provide a safe environment for our attendees to explore imaginative approaches, reflective practices and innovative thinking characteristic of artistic therapies."

Mr. Love further explained that he also hosts sessions, which are extremely helpful for creative and artistic therapists who practice in a wide variety of settings including mental healthcare facilities, hospitals, schools, prisons, community centers and churches among others.

"This is made possible by the fact that majority of our events are run for one or two days during weekends and public holidays, so that your work schedules are not affected. During this time, we have set up short courses to be covered in that time," he explained.

Mr. Love-Lieberman also mentioned that apart from the shorter periodic courses, his practice had also developed longer training courses in arts and meditation. These courses, he explained, proceed over several weeks on the weekends and are also tailored for art therapy professionals and enthusiasts.

Even then, he added that there were certain courses that were open to interested members of the public. These are beginner classes delving into various aspects about art therapy and mediations and its applications to a wide number of situations. "It isn't that we don't welcome interested parties with every course, but rather the course material usually assumes a certain level of knowledge, which means a qualified professional, would understand the course but not an untrained art therapy enthusiast.

As he drew towards the end of his exposition, Mr. Love-Lieberman explained that it was just as important for art therapists to meet with like-minded individuals and share their own experiences as well as learn new techniques, skills and knowledge that impact the practice of art therapy in general.

"All our courses are certificated for participants. More importantly, my focus is to provide an environment where art therapists can periodically let go of their own pressure and stress-inducing factors in order to be more effective in their practices. Stay tuned for all our trainings."
