  • (1888PressRelease) January 30, 2010 - Julie Hart has increasingly being sort to exhibit her artworks nationally and indeed internationally. Declining recent invitations to Quebec, Canada in 2008, and the" New York Art Expo" in 2009. Preferring to stay in the City she loves and is inspired by. So traveling from Broken Hill's climate, to one of the coldest winters in Europe for some time, means there is certain to be a chilly reception for the local painter. But not from the people, who are warmly looking forward to the event.

Eileen Haddow, of La Grande Galerie; "we are eagerly awaiting and will provide a Vernisage (varnishing!! is the official opening party) for an exhibition in France, we will of course invite the Mayor, The closing Concert will be a Romantic Piano soiree again with the Press and dignitaries!

But that's not all! The month long whirlwind tour will include Johannesburg, Paris, London and finally Hong Kong. Although there will be several displays of Julies artwork throughout, Civray France is the main exhibition, Civray is located in the Cognac region in the south of France and boasts among other things, a thriving community of artist and artisans.

A separate event in March this year see's Julie artwork also being shown via large visual displays in and around the Tate Gallery area in the UK. Julie was one of only a few international artists to be approach and selected in this innovative project. The artworks will be displayed via large Billboards and other visual initiatives. And is the brain child of a relative new company, wanting to take art to the people. "Which is what Pro Hart", him-self strived to do at the dismay of many an art snob.

Again the Hart name will spread the word of Broken Hill's attractions to the world. "Broken Hill will be proudly promoted" said Julie, "I have books and brochures to show whoever and wherever we are the uniqueness of Outback Australia".

Julie is not usually given to public appearances and apparently was quite surprised to learn of the exhibition which was organized in part by her Gallery Manager and Husband. "I wanted to do something special for our 25th wedding anniversary, it kept getting bigger,it all just fell in place," said her husband.

Julie quote: "It was all organized and booked for me, otherwise I probably would have said no! It's a case of nervous excitement at the moment. we have sent about 40 works in all, from floral works to outback landscapes. Julie leaves at the end of Jan 2010. It looks certain that the investment value in her work will continue to grow with her popularity.
