  • Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, FL (1888PressRelease) June 29, 2018 - On July 5, staff of Youth for Human Rights Florida, a non-religious, non-profit human rights educational organization supported by the Church of Scientology internationally, will be attending the 15th Annual International Human Rights Summit at the United Nations in New York City. They will be joining young human rights activists representing dozens of countries around the world.

    Over the last 15 years, the Annual Human Rights Summit of Youth for Human Rights International has brought many representatives to the United Nations in dedication to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

    Among the 360 people attending in 2017 were ambassadors and other representatives of the permanent missions to the UN including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Canada, Cuba, Cyprus, Equatorial Guinea, France, Ghana, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Panama, Romania, Sri Lanka and Turkey.
