  • (1888PressRelease) April 23, 2019 - Hyderabad based Y-Axis Foundation and the US Embassy have jointly launched the Y-Axis Advisory Centre free of cost. This is to address the anxiety faced by the students in India and to advise them on the best Universities and courses in the US.

Karl Adam, Deputy Cultural Affairs of the US Embassy addressed the media on the launch of the Centre. He said that we are thrilled to announce the new partnership with Y-Axis Foundation. This pilot project is designed to assist the students in India to get the right information and avoid frauds and scams, said Adam.

Elaborating on the nature of assistance Adam said that we are not filling out their US Study Visa applications. The Consular Officer asks several questions to the applicant. The students would have discussed the diverse aspects of the application with the Y-Axis Advisory Centre Advisor. They will be on sure footing regarding the answers to the Consular Officer then, said Deputy Cultural Affairs of the US Embassy.

The advisory will assist the students to get the right fit for what they aspire said, Adam. The US has 4,700 plus higher education institutions and each University are unique, he added.

The advice offered to the students will be in their best interests said, Karl Adam. It will also inform them regarding the available scholarships for studying in the US. We look forward to students and parents utilizing this pilot program. There are around a million overseas students in the US. Around 3/4th of them go to 300 to 400 schools, said Adam.

The lesser-known aspects of the US Education Network will be highlighted by the advisory program said, Karl Adam. For, example, there is a program known as ‘2+2’. In this, a student attends a Community college and receives education on par with the level of a 4-year University degree, said Adam. The student will get a Degree of Associate and can pursue an education at the best institutions upon graduation. All this is at a minor cost, explained Adam.

Y-Axis Foundation has been offered expert training by the US Embassy said, Adam. This is to enable them to apply ethical methodology and quality in their advisory for students. If you have queries or require advice on studying in the US, please seek assistance from Y-Axis Foundation said, Karl Adam.

Y-Axis Founder and CEO Mr. Xavier Augustin said that it is a moment of great pride for all of us. The US Embassy is proud and happy regarding our joint endeavour. This collaboration is the first of its kind in the world, added Mr. Augustin.
