  • (1888PressRelease) September 09, 2010 - BERKELEY, California - With this latest release, Xinet continues to provide seamless integration of WebNative Suite tools with the latest Creative Suite; helping customers to improve workflow automation and enhance productivity.

"As more graphics professionals upgrade to Creative Suite 5, they eagerly anticipate being able to take advantage of WebNative Suite's powerful digital asset management and workflow tools integrated with the new features and functionalities of the latest Creative Suite," said Scott Seebass, CEO of Xinet. "This crucial upgrade to WebNative Suite ensures that Xinet customers will be able to transition to Creative Suite 5 smoothly and easily."

WebNative Suite 16.05 plug-ins for Creative Suite include:

    • Picture Wrangler ID - a plug-in for InDesign® that provides easy one-click relinking between FPO and high-resolution versions of images. If files have been moved between folders, Picture Wrangler relinks images by automatically searching for them throughout the file directories.

    • WebNative ID - a plug-in for InDesign® that creates previews for documents that have been saved after WebNative ID has been installed. These previews can be viewed through WebNative, and will contain links to images used in the document. Users can also drag and drop images from the web preview directly into InDesign documents on the desktop.

    • Annotator ID - a plug-in for InDesign® that enables customers to create PDFs that contains interactive links to images that reside on the WebNative server. The plug-in also allows customers to use pre-configured print queues that enable the server to send the print output from an InDesign® document to a folder relative to the original file location.

    • Asset Browser ID - a plug-in that allows users to open a Web browser within InDesign® itself. Designers can drag and drop images from that panel directly into layout documents. Additionally, a new layer of customization can be added using AppleScript® that automates many aspects of the design and layout for both images and the metadata associated with them.
