World Marbles Championship Will Start In 2 Weeks
Marbles is not only a game for children. There are many tournaments and some of them are international. People from any country can also participate in the World Marbles Championship.
- (1888PressRelease) July 10, 2010 - Marbles are one of the oldest sport ever. This sport is played in almost any country in the world and some of these countries organize the marbles tournaments where compete adult and young players. There is also one very important marbles tournament organized every year -- World Marbles Championship.
This year the World Marbles Championship will take place in July, 24th, in Prague, Czech Republic. This event is open to all players from any country and the readers are more than welcome to participate in the event and represent their country
The World Marbles Championship starts at 11 o'clock, however, the participants can train at the playground from 9:30. At 11:00 will start the opening ceremony and at about 11:15 will the participants play in the groups. Given number of the best players from the groups will continue in the tournament using the double elimination system. In the evening will be known the new world champion.
The last World Marbles Championship won the Czech Republic representative Leos Kofron.
