Wonderwild Relocating And Expanding- Plus Announcing Wonderwild(ER) New Concept In Kid's Play
Wonderwild Indoor Party Playground is relocating to the front of the same complex and expanding to 16,000 sq. ft. of space. Wonderwild is proud to announce a new concept in play, featuring challenging new equipment for kids 5 and older, including an all-enclosed ropes course playscape--the first of its kind in the US.
- Houston, TX (1888PressRelease) May 21, 2013 - Wonderwild, Houston's premiere indoor party playground since 2009, in Central Houston/Heights area is proud to announce expansion and relocation plans scheduled for July 8, 2013. Wonderwild will be moving within its same complex at Corporate Centre Shepherd to the front of the complex (767 N Shepherd Dr #400 Houston TX 77007), facing North Shepherd-doubling their space to almost 16,000 sq.ft.
Wonderwild is also proud to announce the creation of Wonderwild(er), a new concept in play for older children (5-11 years old) with challenging new equipment that helps develop young muscles and minds. Equipment scheduled includes:
- Ropes Adventure Playscape: The first of its kind in the US, an all-enclosed ropes course with rope swings, sky bridges, obstacles and more. NO BELAYS! NO FEAR! ALL FUN!
- Go-Kart Bikes: The only indoor course in Texas
- Jumping Pillow: Bouncy fun to help develop balance and coordination
- Creative Play Area: for younger siblings and imaginative play
Half of the play area will house Wonderwild(er) and the other half will contain the original Wonderwild-an ideal environment for kids 8 and younger-with a new 3 story-playscape, inflatable crocodile slide, jumping pillow, creative play area, and pedal go-kart bikes.
Originally created by two local Houston moms tired of the heat, humidity and bugs, Wonderwild currently has two locations, one in Central Houston and one in The Woodlands.
Wonderwild and Wonderwild(er) is booking birthday parties for Friday afternoons, with private parties on Saturdays/Sundays. Open play is from Mon-Fri 10am-6pm, summer hours start June 3, 9am-7pm. $10 for walkers, $8 for non-walkers, adults and siblings 9 months and under no charge.
