  • Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) August 19, 2010 - WonderHowTo is pleased to announce the Jackass 3D Prank Contest http://wonderhowto.com/jackass. The premise is simple: write and submit an original prank article to WonderHowTo. The winner wins a trip to Hollywood to pull the prank with Johnny Knoxville for a day.

WonderHowTo and Jackass may seem like an odd partnership, but their audiences are equally obsessed with pulling pranks. Jackass has been refining the art of stupid for over a decade now, while WonderHowTo has carved out quite a niche as the go-to site for all things how-to.

Stephen Chao, CEO of WonderHowTo, explains, "Since our inception, we have noticed that Jackass fans love WonderHowTo's prank tutorials, and our Internet-savvy user base loves all things Jackass. So it is only natural and flattering that Johnny Knoxville would have us host his first ever fan-based contest. After more than a decade of Jackass, Johnny thought it would be really fun to give back to the fan base. Personally I am looking forward to reading a whole bunch of inspired insanity."

Contestants must be U.S. residents and over 18 years of age. They can submit their entries using the "Submit a Prank" link on http://www.wonderhowto.com/jackass, where submissions will be reviewed and curated by the WonderHowTo staff. Once approved, fans and contestants can view their entries on the Jackass 3D World Corkboard. WonderHowTo will feature and promote the best prank submissions.

The contest will run until September 26, 2010. Once submissions close, Johnny Knoxville and Jackass co-creator Jeff Tremaine will hand-pick the winner.
