White Reclamation Sponsor the Winning Side at the Masters Football
One of Manchester's leading Waste Management Companies, White Reclamation, was proud to be on the winning side of this year's North West's, Masters' Football tournament - after sponsoring the winning team, Manchester City.
- (1888PressRelease) August 14, 2010 - Masters Football is the world's leading six-a-side football tournament featuring ex professional players from all around the world. Lee Sharp and Andy Cole are just two household names who played in the tournament that was broadcast live on the Sky Sport's Channel. The North West heat took place at Manchester's MEN Arena, before a crowd of over 3000 spectators who turned up to show their support.
Discussing the sponsorship deal, White's Managing Director and former Manchester City Player, David White explained,
"I've got great memories of playing at Manchester City, so when the opportunity came to show our support we jumped at the chance. Masters Football brings some of the world's best known footballers, playing in what has in the past proven to be a number of exciting games!"
In a close final, Manchester City beat Bolton 3 - 2 to be crowned the North West Champions. Sponsoring the event for the first time, David commented, "Being involved in football myself for a number of years, this event is the ideal platform for White Reclamation to show our support and in return increase our brand awareness through TV exposure."
The Manchester City team is now through to the Grand Final on September 5th at the LG Arena, Birmingham.
David added, "Everyone involved had a fantastic night, customers and employees alike. We are now all looking forward to the finals"
The company now plans to continue their support by sponsoring the team at the event final.
