A festival for BAME and Queer championing web series festival.
(1888PressRelease) October 01, 2017 - Six Two Creative, LA based a well known and reputable production company is seeking to partner up with Monica Y. Dee the founder of UK Web Fest to start a BAME (Black, Asian Minority, Ethnic and Queer (LGBTQ) championing web fest in Los Angeles.
This proposal venture comes after Jett Garrison of Six Two Creative has been a returning judge for UK Web Fest since 2015 and both have come to cherish and respect a close working synergy with Monica being of African descent and Jett and out and proud Trans enthusiast and free soul.
The idea of creating a 'West Coast Web Fest' would surely be a successful one.
The two coming together has raised some excitement within the industry, mainly because there is a need and space for another festival which champions such diversity. At present there is only two web festivals in California.
The creative director of Six Two Creative, Jett Garrison, an exceptional film maker has served as a jury to judge the UK web Fest since 2015. Monica Y Dee who promotes BAME, diversity and inclusion and has won 5 awards for her original LGBT web series Spectrum London. Jett endorses the same with LGB and Trans issues and most their film content revolves around these issues. The director has an experience of 15 years with a proficiency in producing, writing and directing and has added to the success rate of the UK web fest. So there is an excitement that these two will provide California with a much needed film festival which would be one of its own kind. With an optimistic outlook, Monica says "If all goes well West Coast Web Fest will be premiering in Los Angeles Autumn of 2018. We have a lot of industry people backing us and rooting for this to take place so we are excited to move forward and get this moving.’’
Six Two Creative, a production company which creates and produces content for film and television and specializes in promotion and marketing. It’s clients include Sony, abc family and amazon studios. We can't wait to attend the very first West Coast Web Fest.
