Web Synergies is looking to expand its businesses to Andhra Pradesh, as a part of the Singapore delegates, our CEO Gideon Lim has visited India to check the business opportunities.
- (1888PressRelease) November 11, 2021 - Web Synergies Managing Director Mr. Gideon Lim sees plenty of opportunities for the company in the investor-friendly environment fostered by Andhra Pradesh officials.
He told Channel News Asia in a recent interview: “We're quite excited to look into other growth areas in Andhra Pradesh - the capital region has lots of potential, especially with incentives that the government of Andhra Pradesh has in mind.”
Andhra Pradesh is building a brand new capital city with the support and expertise of two of Singapore’s renowned city planners - Surbana International Consultants and Jurong Consultants.
The Singapore / Andhra Pradesh partnership provides plenty of scopes for Singaporean businesses to become involved in infrastructure and investment within the region, with the first priority being the 200-square-kilometer area of the capital city.
Mr. Lim attended the recent presentation by Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, where details of the master plan were released. The aim is for the new Andhra Pradesh state capital to be built within a decade.
Channel News Asia reports that “Singapore businesses will have opportunities to participate in the building of the city, once the master plan is complete”.
As Web Synergies has proven expertise in large-scale projects of this nature, the company is excited by the IT opportunities that will emerge as the new state capital develops.
