Rimmed sinks are mounted flush with the counter surface, vessel sinks are counter surface mounted, tile top sinks are used for free-standing vanity base installations and under-mount basins are installed beneath the counter surface. Artisan Dan Weaver is the creative force behind all Water Stone products. Weaver specializes in blending traditional artisan skills with appropriate tools, processes and technology, to create beautiful and functional bathroom basins. This passion for quality craft is mirrored in his involvement in website design and development, product photography, copy writing, server maintenance, sales, shipping and marketing.

Water Stone products are created using a range of processes, which include ram pressing, slab rolling, slump forming, and unique adaptations of the traditional potter's wheel. Weaver custom designs appropriate production methods for each sink and basin variation. While many are exclusively wheel thrown, others are shaped over foam forms, or made by hand detailing press formed blanks. Each product is distinctively shaped and sized and many are additionally detailed with spiraled finger ridges and hand detailed line work. Where required, overflow tunnels are applied by traditional artisan methods to the press formed sink blanks. All products offered by the company are glazed and fired to full vitrification at 2400 F.

Water Stone products are characterized by their precise detail, clean line and bright colors which compliment traditional as well as contemporary designs as well as a range of popular materials and color schemes.
