  • (1888PressRelease) March 20, 2011 - WAT-AAH! partners with The 100 Mile ClubŪ for the 4th Annual Run4Kids (R4K11) and PTA Health & Safety Fair on March 19th at Auburndale Intermediate School as the official beverage provider, hydrating the runners and donating fun merchandise and prizes for kids. WAT-AAH!, who has been working side by side with The 100 Mile ClubŪ is proud to be a part of The 100 Mile ClubŪ's largest annual event. This event is to raise funds for the organization and participating schools, with a newly added effort in raising funds for the children and victims in Japan who have been affected by the recent natural disasters.

"The partnership between WAT-AAH! and The 100 Mile ClubŪ is incredible!" says Kara Lubin, Founder of The 100 Mile ClubŪ. "Our missions and visions are both headed toward the same goals. Having WAT-AAH! at Run 4 Kids this year will promote healthy, sugar-free hydration through a youthful and fun approach, as our kids journey toward 100 miles and beyond."

WAT-AAH! and the 100 Mile ClubŪ will be joining forces with Japan native, Mieko Morita, and the Boy Scouts of America to help the millions affected by the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Mieko will be running with fellow ultra-marathon runners for a continuous 24 hours to raise funds and the Boy Scouts of America will be coordinating a Disaster Relief drop off during the race. Through the Boy Scouts of America, WAT-AAH! will be directly donating the much-needed bottled water to the victims in Japan.

"It is nice to be involved with a club that is geared toward encouraging kids to be active and healthy as well as sharing a common goal to fight childhood obesity," says Rose Cameron, CEO of WAT-AAH! "We are proud to sponsor such a great event that not only supports active kids within the schools and communities, but has also led to the inclusion of support and fundraising for children in need."
