VisitMySmokies.com Sets New Traffic Record in 2014

  • Tacoma, WA (1888PressRelease) March 10, 2015 - The previous traffic record for the site was set in 2013 when VisitMySmokies.com hosted over 1 million unique visitors for the first time in the website's history. Compared to the numbers set at the end of 2013, 2014 saw an increase in traffic of over 65 percent.

    Success for VisitMySmokies.com will not be slowing down anytime soon. On Jan. 9, the site set a new record for traffic with the most traffic in a single day at over 26,000 unique visitors to the site.

    VisitMySmokies.com's Facebook page also saw an increase in fans compared to previous years. As of February 2015, the fan site has over 511,000 fans.

    Site administrators with VisitMySmokies.com are looking forward to launching a complete redesign of the site in the upcoming months. The new design will include even more valuable information for its millions of visitors, as well as many new features that will allow for easier vacation planning. Many of the new features are also designed to benefit the site's lodging partners to help them get even more from the site.

    Established in 2009, Visit My Smokies is the only site travelers need to plan a vacation to the Great Smoky Mountains.
