  • Denver, CO (1888PressRelease) July 20, 2011 - Prelude, a new software that will allow real estate agents and brokers to effectively and efficiently manage multiple short sale properties and transactions was released today by Realis Real Estate Software (formerly REO Maestro).

Realis, founded by veteran REO agent Lauren Roberts in 2001, currently leads the industry with their flagship product, Maestro. Prelude is especially designed for brokers and realtors who work in the short sale market and will be sold as a separate software platform as well as an extension of Maestro.

"The volume levels continue to remain steady and in most cases are increasing as a result of the economy and housing market," said Roberts. "But, agents and brokers must continue to be mindful of their profit margins, which are historically slim when specializing in REO and Short Sale management. Agents and broker must work smart, carefully controlling the growth of their administrative teams, while continuing to exceed the needs of their clients. This makes having a software platform that can streamline their workflow more critical to their bottom line than ever before."

Prelude will be launched with an industry-leading key integration called Backstage. It allows lenders, venders and short sale home owners to have full task management access to the Prelude system.

Prelude's other key features include a forms library, auto package generation and borrower access. Unlike other real estate software, Prelude was not designed by an IT person but by a veteran real estate agent who understands the business from a tactical rather than technical point of view.

"Prelude is both simple and elaborate, offering an easy-to-use software that incorporates all of the needs of the agent while being scalable to any size company without the confusing bells and whistles," said Roberts.

Earlier this year, Realis went though a re-branding and name change to better portray its place in the real estate market and to make room for the future expansion of its portfolio of software products currently in development. Prelude is the first in their series of new products and Realis is currently developing a third product, Overture, due out at the end of 2011.

    About Realis Real Estate Software
Based in Denver, Realis Real Estate Software (formerly REO Maestro) provides and supports workflow management software for real estate professionals. In 2001 Realis Founder and CEO Lauren Roberts was a REO (Real Estate Owned) broker who wanted to streamline her operations, and broaden the talents and productivity of her agent team when she created REO Maestro. For almost a decade, REO Maestro - the first REO management software built by and for real estate professionals - has set the standard for simplifying and organizing all workflows associated with marketing and managing REO properties. In today's unpredictable market, the way agents can earn more is to diversify their services and portfolios, and work more efficiently - not manage more properties. Today Realis provides software solutions for REO properties, with software tailored for short sales available in Spring 2011. For more information, please visit http://www.RealisSoftware.com.
