DJ Naphtali (Bruce), is "live" on crowd-funding site, IndieGoGo in order to change his and the world's water life for the better. "The Cheetah Project - Clean Watershed Worldwide Radio Network (CWW) .
A radio personality for almost forty years, "Jimi B" has, like many of his ilk, seen on-the-air jobs in terrestrial radio disappear. He plans to make available to the world, his over 10,000 titles of clean vinyl including classic music, past radio moments tapes and CD for the first time, talk and play music about raising awareness for maintaining clean water supplies, and teach how to "DJ" the right way. Mr. Bruce was once hired by the late legendary Frankie Crocker of WBLS, NYC in 1984.
"I, like the cheetah, am an endangered species, and this is the continuum where I have the best chance to change that and better the second act of my life while spreading a positive message", Naphtali says.
Along for this journey in 2011 will be his finally found soul-mate, Nina. "It is also a great romantic love story for this middle-aged guy", he laughs. "We have the same mission...She is my teammate and the best ever for me!"
This venture also has the goal of funding a hardcover version radio memoir, "He's In A Meeting". "I want my Mum, who is eighty-six and doesn't "do" computers, to have my hardcover conveniently on her bedside night table" he said.
