Verité Films, a Los Angeles based independent production company that creates and develops entertaining concepts, has recently announced its new member Josiah Knapp as Principal and Chief Operating Officer.

Verité's co-founders, Producers René Veilleux and Donald Roman Lopez, feel their new alliance with a seasoned business professional who also has a creative sensibility, is the key to expanding the production company's vision and financial strength.
Following his graduation from Rutgers University School of Law, Josiah practiced general corporate and commercial law prior to joining the Billion Dollar, international service company, NFI Industries as first its General Counsel and later as President and COO of its multi-million dollar, national division, NFI Real Estate. While at NFI, Josiah established a track record of using outside-the-box and strategic thinking for solving complex problems; maximizing efficiency and facilitating communications at all levels of an organization. Josiah has most recently turned his attention to writing and is in the process of developing a television show, several movies and a book.
Verité Films has most recently produced the English adaptation and dubbing of the animated feature film The Snow Queen and last year released the feature film, The Putt Putt Syndrome, which is now available on DVD. Currently, Verité Films is in production on a feature length documentary about the life and music of renowned Colombian singer, Totó La Momposina and is also in development on the gay romantic comedy Over The Rainbow and the vampire horror film Bloodmoon.
