Verdantis signs American Electric Power as customer for automated Material MDM Solutions
American Electric Power, AEP has signed a 5 year deal to license Verdantis Harmonize® and Verdantis Integrity®.

AEP will use Verdantis Harmonize® to standardize and classify approximately 400,000 item descriptions, enrich legacy data and identify form-fit-function duplicates via non-source enrichment to unlock procurement and inventory related savings. Harmonize encapsulates over a decade's worth of MRO data quality improvement expertise into a self-service, spreadsheet-free platform for end-user organizations.
Verdantis Integrity® empowers users with an Amazon-like interface to search materials, items and parts within and across facilities. With highly configurable workflows, it will be a strong tool to improve processes related to new part creation, duplicate removal and data standardization.
