  • (1888PressRelease) October 19, 2021 - UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group), through its community outreach Initiative, in collaboration with ANK (an NGO) Donated Oxygen Concentrators to Govt. Community Health Centre, Bhangel, Noida on 13th October 2021 to provide COVID-19 relief

    On October 13, 2021, UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) in collaboration with ANK, a Delhi-based NGO working in Health, education, and Skill development for the underprivileged, organized an Oxygen Concentrator Donation Drive as part of their continued community support.
    The donation drive was held at Community Health Centre, Bhangel. In this donation program, 14 Oxygen Concentrators along with a computer and a Printer were donated at Community Health Centre. The donation drive was supported by The Ultimate Kronos Group. Sanjeev Mangotra, Nitin Wadhwa, Rajeev Kumar & Bimal Nayak proudly represented Ultimate Kronos Group at the donation drive with great enthusiasm.

    Dr. Yatendra Singh, the Medical Superintendent of the CHC, Bhangel said, "The oxygen Concentrators donated by ANK NGO will prove to be a fighting weapon against the anticipated third wave of COVID-19, and part of this equipment can support the childcare and maternity care wings of the hospital. This was a much-needed step to be taken at our Community Health Centre and this will surely help the less privileged families of this area. On the behalf of CHC, we are thankful to ANK NGO and UKG for these donations, this will support the community vaccination program smoothly."

    Mr. Sanjeev Mangotra (VP-Engineering) and Nitin Wadhwa (Director-HR) mentioned how “Giving is core to the UKG Culture” and they expressed their joy that UKG was able to partner with ANK & Community Health center to bring positive impact in the community as we all continue to deal with the Pandemic. They mentioned that UKG is celebrating Giving month the entire of October with the “Udaan” campaign. These 4 weeks are dedicated by UKG and its employees to staying engaged with various community support programs aimed at helping the less privileged, improving the environment, women empowerment, and more.

    They also mentioned that UKG is committed to helping less privileged people in the society and that UKG has been supporting ANK’s project since 2015 and over 700 children have directly benefitted from their intervention.”

    About the NGO's donation drive, Founder and CEO, Mr. Abhishek Kishore said, "We prioritize the health of underprivileged, hence the donation of Oxygen Concentrators has been a proud moment for all of us at ANK. I'm sure this initiative will help in supporting COVID-19 recoveries at the health center. We conduct free periodical health camps too across all our centers in Delhi-NCR for the underprivileged families of different communities and provide them with free education and skill development training. We are planning more such COVID-19 relief initiatives shortly as well."
