  • (1888PressRelease) November 25, 2011 - Launched in January this year, the biogas holders have attracted much demand, especially among the farming community, who can harness the energy from methane gas, produced from the anaerobic digestion of organic waste.

Base Structures has designed and built biogas holders for customers including Fre-Energy and Steve Price of Bio-tech Services. Each gas holder is bespoke to the client with the volume ranging from 5 to 5,000m3 plus fittings such as the Services Interface Panel and an integral Pressure Relief Valve.

"We work closely with our customers to ensure our product is designed to meet their specific individual needs," said Jon Morris of Base Structures. "And by simplifying the installation, we make it that much easier for farmers to get up and running with bio energy, which is increasingly attractive in the face of rising energy prices."

Manufactured in the UK, the gas storage spheres are built to high quality specification with triple membrane construction, factory sealed finish, structural quality fabrics warranted in excess of 15 years and all engineered to British Standard (BS) for year round use.

Base welcomes enquiries from both partners and potential customers. For further information please contact Fran Buchanan on +44 (0) 117 971 2229, email francisb ( @ ) basestructures dot com or
