- (1888PressRelease) April 29, 2011 - The Peninsula New York invites guests to celebrate the nuptials of Prince William and Catherine Middleton high atop Fifth Avenue at the Rooftop Royal Wedding Breakfast. The festive and elegant early morning breakfast will take place on April 29, 2011 at Salon de Ning, located on the rooftop of the hotel. From 5:30 am onwards, guests will watch the live broadcast from Westminster Abbey on several large flat screen plasma televisions that will be placed around the venue while enjoying cocktails and a delectable breakfast fit for a king (or Prince William).
The traditional English breakfast buffet items include York Ham, Scottish Smoked Salmon and Poached Smoked Haddock served with a poached egg. Specialty Champagne cocktails feature English concoctions such as "Buck's Fizz" which consists of a delightful combination of fresh orange juice and Champagne; and " Wedding Bells" containing Champagne, orange juice, peach schnapps and garnished with an orange twist. Guests will also receive a special party favor at breakfast to commemorate the day's festivities.
