    Abstract
In June 2020, the U.S. government suspended the issuance of new employment-based nonimmigrant visas and green cards for the rest of the year. Aimed at protecting U.S. citizens’ health and jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic, the suspension covers nonimmigrants in the H-1B, L-1, H-2B, and J-1 visa categories as well as their dependents.

Given the many uncertainties, the ban presents a more challenging and complicated landscape for businesses in managing future workforce needs. Thus, it would be prudent for U.S. employers that rely on nonimmigrants to develop a contingency plan that will help them alleviate the effects of the regulatory changes.

Listen as a panel of distinguished professionals and thought leaders organized by The Knowledge Group discuss the recent regulatory issues surrounding employment-based nonimmigrant visas and green cards. Speakers, among other things, will also offer expert insight on how U.S. businesses and organizations can cope with the changes considering the fast-evolving immigration backdrop.

In a LIVE Webcast, the speakers will discuss:
    • COVID-19 Immigration Orders on Visas and Green Cards – Overview
    • Recent Developments
    • Implications for Employers
    • What to Do
    • Outlook
