    The annual Builder of the Year award is presented to one active SBACNJ member who has demonstrated outstanding achievement during the year. The Walters Group was chosen for several reasons, explains Gina Woolley, executive officer of SBACNJ. "They are leaders in the industry promoting 'green' building. And they are one of our most active builder members, giving back to the community by being involved in different charitable organizations. We are pleased that they are being honored for the recognition of which they so deserve."

    During the ceremony, Walters was also presented with a Builders Employing Associate Members (BEAM) award. SBACNJ presented the annual award to Walters for exemplifying teamwork principles in employing member companies in their projects.
