- (1888PressRelease) May 15, 2015 - JOLIET, IL - The Scrubs Hub recently partnered with the Shorewood Kiwanis Club to support pediatric medicine. The online medical scrubs store donated medical scrubs for men and women as well as medical supplies to the Kiwanis 4th Annual Casino Night Gala Silent Auction.
The event took place on April 25, 2015 and is the Kiwanis Club's largest fundraiser of the year. All proceeds from the event went to Presence Saint Joseph's Center for Pediatric Excellence. The Shorewood Kiwanis Club is the Center's third-largest contributor, having donated over $42,000 to the Center to date.
"We were delighted to be able to participate in this event. The Kiwanis fundraiser was a natural fit for The Scrubs Hub since all proceeds went to support the local medical community. Medical professionals are our customers and we know how hard they work day in and day out.
