    TIE UP HOLIDAY LOOSE ENDS AT THE SALVATION ARMY GIFT WRAP BOOTH
    Monday, December 3 until Monday, December 24

    Put the finishing touches on your Holiday shopping with a visit to the Salvation Army Gift Wrap Booth beginning Monday, December 3 until Monday, December 24 at Sherway Square opposite the food court stairs.

    The depot will be open weekdays and Saturdays from 10 am until 8 pm, and December 24 from 10am to 3pm. There is no gift wrap service on Sundays. A bargain at just $5 minimum per package, with additional donations gratefully accepted, 100% of all proceeds go to fund The Salvation Army to assist those in need in the local community.

    It takes 140 volunteers approximately 1,655 man hours to wrap more than 5,000 gifts at Sherway Gardens. They use about 18,326 feet of wrap, 6,500 medium bows, 1,900 small bows and 47,250 yards of ribbon over the holiday season.

    The Salvation Army, Etobicoke Community Church is excited to have Price Waterhouse Cooper and students from schools in the Etobicoke and Mississauga area providing "Volunteer Teams" who will be participating at the Salvation Army Gift Wrap Booth at Sherway Gardens. The Salvation Army genuinely appreciates the tremendous help from the students in the community and the support of Sherway Gardens over the past 30 years.

    HEAR THE BELLS RINGING WITH THE SALVATION ARMY KETTLE CAMPAIGN

    The sounds of bells ringing from Salvation Army Kettle Campaign has been a tradition for more than 100 years and the tradition continues at Sherway Gardens beginning Friday, November 16 until Monday, December 24.

    The Salvation Army's annual Christmas Campaign has grown into one of Canada's most significant and recognizable annual charitable events and is a friendly reminder that the spirit of the season is giving. The funds raised provide food and clothing for thousands of needy families right in our own community throughout the holiday season and beyond.

    Help less fortunate children this holiday season by donating a new, unwrapped toy to one of the two special CTV Toy Mountain bins at Sherway Gardens from November 26 until December 23 at 6pm. The bins are located in Sherway Square opposite Aritzia and next to the Guest Services Booth.

    It's so easy to make the holidays a bit happier for a child. Please be generous and donate early to the CTV Toy Mountain! The Salvation Army will deliver these toys to needy children in our community in time for Christmas.
