  • (1888PressRelease) August 29, 2014 - The Pizza Press, a fast casual build-your-own pizza restaurant, is expanding its operations in Orange County, with a second location coming November 2014 in Old Towne Orange.

The new location, sitting inside The Plaza, will boast a 3,000 square foot interior, with seating for over 50 people inside, and a front patio to seat another 18 diners. The open layout of the new location will create a culture that invites guests to stay a while, including offering free wireless Internet to cater to local Chapman University students.

The Pizza Press is working with local design teams and management companies to incorporate the spirit and overall charm of Old Towne Orange. Local marketing firm Red Mallard is behind the branding of The Pizza Press, while Melissa Morgan Design is working on the design of the new location.

"Growing up in Orange County, I learned to appreciate The Plaza and the history of this great area," says Dara Maleki, Founder of The Pizza Press. "Once we opened our first location in Anaheim, I had my heart set on The Plaza. We are proud to be opening up what will become our flagship store as we continue to bring newsworthy pizza to other parts of this great state."

With the opening of its first location in Anaheim, California in June 2012, The Pizza Press has changed the quick-serve approach to America's favorite food item. The Pizza Press name came out of the desire to make each pizza a story. Guests are encouraged to design their own pizza, complete with unlimited toppings, or choose from popular pizzas flavored after regional newspapers, including "The Times," "The Tribune," and "The Chronicle." The Pizza Press also offers handmade salads, kid-sized pizzas, and artisan root beer floats. Guests can enjoy beer from local breweries like Valiant Brewery and Bootleggers, both on tap and in bottles for take away.

"We want every customer to be our guest, enjoy fresh, delicious pizza-whether they choose from our combinations or publish their own. Our goal is to ensure memorable experiences and delicious meals," explains Maleki. "I am looking forward to bringing The Pizza Press to the charming and timeless Old Towne Orange."

The Pizza Press will join numerous other local eateries in Old Towne Orange, including Gabbi's, Citrus City Grill, Felix's, Francoli's, Haven Gastropub, Watson's Pharmacy, and more. Located just one block from Chapman University, the restaurant is located at 155 North Glassell Orange, CA 92866.

The Pizza Press is also available for franchise, with potential additional locations in Oregon, Utah and Texas.
