  • (1888PressRelease) February 12, 2015 - Former foster child and "Little Sister" turned bestselling author and business leader, Elle Febbo, invites the press to join her as she celebrates the success of the "PERFECT COMBO" campaign with Jack in the Box, benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County (BBSVC).

    Special edition copies of Elle's award-winning children's book "What Love Is A-Z" have been sold in select Ventura County Jack in the Box locations. In-store book signings highlighted the summer and fall book sale kickoffs, where each book purchased included a coupon for a free combo meal.

    Book sales have already reached nearly $9,000. The ongoing campaign through 2015 is on track to nearly double that figure. On February 20 at 11:30am, Jack in the Box (4901 Verdugo Way, Camarillo) will present Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County a check for books sold to date, will all proceeds benefitting BBSVC's one-to-one mentoring programs.

    "It's exciting to give back to an organization that made such a huge difference for me when I needed it most, and I'm grateful to Herrick Foods, LLC and Jack In the Box Restaurants for making it possible. Without their generosity, this wouldn't have been possible," says the author, who has raised funds for over 15 charities using this collaborative structure.
