  • (1888PressRelease) July 15, 2017 - Norfolk, UK - Portland, Oregon is where The LDN 2017 Conference will take place September 22-24th at the Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel and will be LiveStreamed around the globe! The highly acclaimed speakers include, Pain Specialist Pradeep Chopra MD, Gastroenterologist Leonard Weinstock MD, Oncologist Professor Angus Dalgleish and Researcher Jarred Younger MD.

CEO of the LDN Research Trust, Linda Elsesgood said "We are very proud to be able to share with the world the knowledge and experience of our 30 expert LDN speakers at the LDN 2017 Conference. Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) has been used since 1985 to help regulate a dysfunctional immune system, it is a cheap drug with little to no side effects. It has been successfully used for treating Multiple Sclerosis, Crohn's Disease, Autism, Chronic Pain, Cancers etc"

There have been many LDN trials and studies over the past few years including Crohn's Disease, Juvenile Crohn's Disease, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Pain, Cancer with more planned. Naltrexone and therefore LDN, is out of patent which means no drug companies will carry out trials as there is no money to be made. This means acquiring the required funding is very difficult for trials and a slow process. We hope that we can speed up the process with this conference which is the 4th to be held in the US by the LDN Research Trust.

Why Oregon? LDN is taught in medical schools in Portland which isn't the norm, making it the ideal location. The aim of the conference is to help educate MD's, DO's, ND, PA-c's and Nurse Practitioners in the use of LDN and to encourage further trials and studies. We have been awarded CE Credits from The American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and The Oregon Board of Naturopathic Medicine.

About the LDN Research Trust: The LDN Research Trust is a UK Registered Charity, established in 2004 by people with Multiple Sclerosis who had seen remarkable results with LDN. They have helped over 59,000 people worldwide to find an LDN Prescriber and actively help and support LDN Prescribers, Researchers and Pharmacists. www.ldnresearchtrust.org Linda Elsegood or the speakers would be available for interview.
