The vision for the National Bible Bee is to encourage parents as they disciple their children through study of the Word of God, Scripture memorization and prayer. While known as a competition for young people to memorize scripture, the Bible Bee exists primarily to encourage parents to disciple their children through in-depth study of the Word of God, Scripture memorization and prayer. The Bible Bee is a neutral ground for various denominational and theological backgrounds to agree on the biblical imperative to train up a child in the way he should go.
