  • (1888PressRelease) October 28, 2015 - Music has always been above bars and boundaries, for all ages to appreciate and enjoy. On occasion of the upcoming Children's Day celebrations, Creanara's Surprabhat shares the festivity of the occasion and brings it to expression in its next edition - a performance done entirely by a musical troupe of youngsters! With ages between twelve to seventeen amongst this motley crew, they will be presenting a fusion performance that will cross over from Classical Raagas to Bollywood, English Pop and more!

    The 14-year old Anwesha Mitra is a Trinity graded vocal performer who will be handling vocal duties, with her choice of expression ranging from Hindustani Classical, Bengali Rabindra Sangeets to Jazz and Blues! Pathik Maniyar and Tavan Shah, both 17 year olds, will be handling Violin and Piano duties respectively. Pathik is also a pianist, with over 100 performances as a violinist and professional piano recitals both under his belt. Tavan is a trained pianist who has played the keyboard and piano extensively, gaining recognition for a Mozart performance he did in Cyprus. Accompanying them will be 12 year old Raag Gandhi on the Tabla, a student of Shri. Munjal Mehta. Also on percussion duty is 12 year old Devarsh Varma, an award-winning prodigy on the drums.

    The event is scheduled to take place on the 1st of November at the break of dawn in Ahmedabad's Sabarmati Riverfront, continuing successful run through 2015!
