  • Denver, CO (1888PressRelease) October 18, 2014 - Today, The Medical Center of Aurora announced a community Shredding and Recycling Fundraising Event to benefit the Food Bank of The Rockies to take place on Saturday, October 18 from 8:00a.m. - 10:00a.m. at The Medical Center of Aurora.

    What: Experts recommend that consumers shred all old and outdated documents and records that contain personal information, including canceled checks, old bank statements, bills and medical records. A tax-deductible donation of $5 per box or bag that each person brings is encouraged.

    When and Where: October 18, from 8:00a.m. to 10:00a.m.

    Where: The Medical Center of Aurora, 1501 S. Potomac Street, Aurora, Colo. North parking lot on the main campus.
