As a part of the Hi-Fi group of clubs, Brisbane's version is showcasing the best upcoming rock bands. It has honored the tradition of high quality vibes of its sister venues. Many famous bands from around the globe have graced the venues stage. It is also a favorite for emerging artists.

    Emergenza is the worlds largest and most famous festival for up and coming rock bands. The festival holds concerts in more than 150 cities around the world. It showcases up and coming bands from across the globe.

    The festival is held in knockout rounds in different countries throughout the year. The first rounds are decided by the audience. The vote is an open one and the audience can vote as many times as it wants for as many bands as it chooses. The final rounds are decided by a professional jury panel of judges.

    Seven bands will take to The Hi-Fi's stage; blues rock band The Rouse, Indie rock band Faleepo Francisco, rock band Crowbird, rock band NightoftheDay, alternative rock band Turtle-Dog, hard rock band Roses for the Damned and rock band Here's to Neverland.

    These seven bands all hope to represent their country in the international finals. The international finals are held each August in Germany at the Taubertal Open Air Festival. Bands who are national winners will be flown to Germany at Emergenza's expense. Bands talented enough to make the international finals will get to share the bill with some of musics biggest legends. The winner of the international festival is crowned "The Best Band in the World" and wins a tour, promotion, studio time, free musical instruments and much more!
