  • Boston, MA-NH (1888PressRelease) October 26, 2011 - We invite you to bring your Bruce Springsteen mementos, photos, t-shirts, posters, books, ticket stubs, albums and especially your Bruce stories and memories to share with other fans who have appreciated Bruce Springsteen's appearances in the Boston area since 1973. From the famous and historic shows at Charlie's Place in Cambridge, to the last two full concerts with E Street band member Danny Federici in November 2007, Boston has a special place in the hearts of Springsteen fans.

Come meet local photographer Rocco Coviello. Rocco, native of Lynn, Mass, has been a Bruce Springsteen fan since 1975 and shooting him in concert from 1978 until today. He has photographed Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, The Clash, Elvis Costello, Bob Dylan, Mumford and Sons, The Gaslight Anthem and more. Rocco's photos have appeared in Backstreets Magazine, Springsteen book For You, and the Dutch Springsteen books The Rising as well as Magic Nights. Rocco will be displaying some of his fantastic photos of Bruce spanning thirty years, from The Boston Garden, Fenway Park to Madison Square Garden and more!

"Outside of Jersey and maybe Philadelphia, is there a stronger Springsteen fan base than the one in Boston?" asked Peter Chianca, longtime Boston-area journalist and founder of the Springsteen blog "Blogness on the Edge of Town." "From the earliest days of his career, when Jon Landau famously wrote about 'rock 'n' roll's future,' to today, when his stopping in the Boston Public Gardens to play a few notes with a street musician garners headlines and news reports all over town, Boston has loved Bruce. They don't call it Boss-ton for nothing."

Lawrence Kirsch, professional music photographer for seventeen years and publisher of the Springsteen book, For You, Original Stories and Photographs by Bruce Springsteen's Legendary Fans will be signing copies of the limited edition book, The Light in Darkness, which serves as an unofficial companion volume to Bruce's box set, The Promise. The Light in Darkness is only available on line and during the evening at the Boston Beer Works.

Come join us for an evening of Bruce Springsteen memories and discover fans and friends who have the same passion as you!
