  • (1888PressRelease) July 14, 2015 - Mr Kavin Kittiboonya, Managing Director of Kavin Intertrade Co, show organizer said the show which will kick off from July 16-19, at BITEC, Bangkok, Thailand, is well participated by almost 130 exhibitors representing more than 350 product brands from almost 30 countries worldwide, including country pavilion from China and Malaysia.

    As a member of US-based Diversified Communications which is known worldwide for the world's biggest seafood shows in Boson, USA and Brussels, Belgium, Mr Kavin said TRAFS 2015, the fastest growing food, hospitality and retail show in Thailand, offers a "one stop shop" products for food service/hotels/retail businesses.

    Products range from hotel guests rooms (mattresses, bed sheets, linen)to kitchen equipment for chefs and pastry chefs (oven, chilling/freezing equipment, bakery, food ingredients and raw materials), dining rooms for F&B (table wares, wine and drinks, coffee/gelato machines and ingredients), cleaning equipment and supplies for housekeepers and laundry, packaging (soft and hard ones), food technology products, and IT technology (software and hardware) for hotel reservations, restaurant and retail outlets.

    Mr. Kavin said TRAFS 2015 is timely organized for business owners/hospitality professionals and retail operators to source new products/equipment in preparation for the upcoming high season in this year's last quarter when the tourism, food service and retail businesses resume.

    The managing director said further that besides product displays, TRAFS 2015 also include many new features/highlights to provide maximum benefits to buyers/visitors during their visit to the show.

    Newly added this year, he said, is "ASEAN Halal Food Zone" to serve the ever growing demands of halal food and to coincide with the opening of AEC, one single ASEAN community, end of this year. "Halal food operators/manufacturers from ASEAN member countries will showcase their products to visitors/buyers," Mr. Kavin said.

    Returning following last year's success is the "simulated full bar" concept, where pub/bar/restaurant owners/professionals can meet and discuss with exhibitors of both alcohol and non-alcohol drinks and supplies on business opportunities.

    The popular Mater Classes on live demonstration of 8 trendiest food and bakery menus will be conducted by renowned chefs from Thailand Culinary Academy with recipe handouts to all attendants (chefs, cooks, bakers) to enable them to prepare theses menus at their restaurants/establishments themselves.

    Mr. Kavin went on to say that TRAFS 2015 will be co-located with the 11th Thailand Franchise & Business Opportunities 2015 (TFBO) show, the largest international franchise show in ASEAN.

    Approximately 130 franchise exhibitors representing 150 brands from 10 countries, including the US, New Zealand, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, are taking part in this year's TFBO. "International brands are looking for master franchisee representatives in Thailand as part of their business expansion into this region, while Thai brands would like to meet both local and international investors," the managing director stated.

    As the only "Two in One" events in the region which complements each other, visitors/buyers can expect to save time and energy to visit these two shows at one time, sourcing for new products/ingredients/equipment as well as explore investment opportunities.
