  • (1888PressRelease) June 06, 2022 - The first two Boeing 777-300ER aircraft were delivered in early April, with the final being welcomed later in the month by THAI to bolster fleet competency and provide travellers with a spacious cabin and a state-of-the-art flying experience.

Enhanced fuel efficiency allows the extended range aircraft to help reduce carbon emissions, while being able to accommodate over 300 passengers. The aircraft is wide-bodied to provide passengers with a spacious cabin for a comfortable flight.

THAI, as part of their rehabilitation plan framework, has leased the three Boeing aircraft, with fees calculated using a “power-by-the-hour” approach. The new THAI aircraft will be utilized as one of the four primary aircraft types included as part of the rehabilitation plan, as the 777-300ERs will allow THAI to reduce maintenance costs and heighten service quality.

The three Boeing 777-300ERs will operate flights from Bangkok to London, and will offer Royal First Class, Royal Silk Class, and Economy Class options. Each flight class will feature the latest selection of inflight entertainment and THAI’s award-winning cabin service.

The flights from Bangkok to London see the return of Royal First class service, where passengers can enjoy a truly luxurious in-flight experience. To book special flight offers, or Royal First class flights from Bangkok to London, visit the Thai Airways website.
